History

Nordiska Ekonomie Studerandes Union – NESU Finland ry was officially founded in 2000 in order to coordinate the functioning and expansion of NESU in Finland. During the first ten years the board of NESU Finland consisted of the country representative and all the chairmen of Finnish NESU organizations. In the annual meeting of 2011, held during the NESU Dagen in Oulu, the organizational structure was renewed; the chairman and the board are chosen by election in the annual meeting, while the chairmen of Finnish NESU organizations form a NESU Finland committee. Every Finnish NESU member is eligible to apply to the NESU Finland board.
