The Freshmen have started to settle in to their new lives as students and have actively been taking part in all kinds of exciting events arranged mainly by our school’s student board. At the same time we in the board of NESU-Hanken i Vasa have not been standing idly by, just a few weeks ago the NESU-Hanken I Vasa board arranged a beer pong evening which started of with a bit of information about NESU and the opportunities that we can offer our students.
Since NESU-Hanken I Vasa has been going through major changes, such as many of the older and very active students graduating which has in turn left behind a vacuum that needs to be filled, we in the board have decided to take a step back and hit the reset button on the way we were approaching things. Times are changing and we think that with new people new solutions are also necessary.
Because of all this we are sad to inform you that NESU-Hanken i vasa will not be arranging any sitses this year and will instead be putting the main focus on promoting NESU internally within the school with smaller events such as our recent beer pong evening. We will also concentrate on bringing new students to other cities NESU-events to rebuild the NESU-community at our school.
The entire NESU-Hanken i vasa board also wants to express their gratitude for the warm welcomes students from our organization keep receiving when attending other schools NESU-events! This is extremely helpful when introducing NESU to students who aren’t familiar with it and helps us maintain our activity.
