NESU-Optimi operates under Optimi ry, which is the student organization of the University of Eastern Finland for economics students in Joensuu campus. NESU-Optimi has been a member of NESU since the beginning of 2011 when NESU-Optimi was established. Therefore, NESU-Optimi represents one of the youngest NESU organizations of all the NESU cities in Finland. As a young organization our aim is to improve our active role concerning NESU as well as we possibly can in our own events and in events organized by other NESU members, and thus be a part of evolving NESU culture. NESU-Optimi arranges 8 sits-parties annually, offering a great opportunity for networking and getting to know fellow business students from other NESU cities.
