This spring has been nothing short of unforgettable for us at NESU-Preemio. While the events themselves are often what people see and remember, some of the best parts happen well before the first toast or after the final song — behind the scenes, where ideas come to life, friendships grow, and real teamwork happens.
This spring has been nothing short of unforgettable for us at NESU-Preemio. While the events themselves are often what people see and remember, some of the best parts happen well before the first toast or after the final song — behind the scenes, where ideas come to life, friendships grow, and real teamwork happens.

Beyond our own events, we’ve also been on the move, traveling to NESU sitz parties and seminars in other cities. These trips are always filled with new experiences, inside jokes, and the chance to see how other NESU organizations do things. More importantly, they’ve brought us closer as a team. From shared tripsnacks to navigating unfamiliar cities together, those little moments have helped turn a group of individuals into a tight-knit crew that works and laughs together effortlessly.
One of our biggest highlights this spring was our Vappusitz, which we hosted in a completely new venue: the legendary Ravintola Albatrossi — better known as Alba. Organizing an event in a new location came with its own set of challenges. None of us had hosted anything there before, so every step — from mapping out the room to testing the sound system — required extra planning and adaptability. But from the start, we knew we wanted to try something different and create a unique Vappu celebration.

The theme was “Ari,” which sparked an amazing range of costumes and interpretations from our guests. It was one of those sitsit where everything just clicked — the crowd, the space, the vibe. Alba turned out to be the perfect setting, and the energy in the room was something we’ll remember for a long time. But what made it truly special was knowing how much effort went into every part of it — effort that most people never see.
Looking back, this spring has been about more than just events. It’s been about learning how to trust each other, how to work as a team, and how to turn challenges into unforgettable nights. NESU-Preemio isn’t just about organizing parties — it’s about the people behind them, the long hours, the spontaneous dance breaks during decorating sessions, and the sense of pride we feel when it all comes together.
And if this spring was any indication, we can’t wait to see what’s next.
