Hälsningar från Sverige!
The first half year of 2024 has been exciting for NESU Sweden. We have grown in various aspects and plan to further increase engagement in the future.
The first NESU Sweden sitz party was arranged with the help of the NESU Finland board this February. Participants from around Finland and the two business schools in Stockholm attended to spread the word of NESU in Sweden. Furthermore, we experienced an increase in engagement for the NESU Conference this Spring as we had two more sign ups from Sweden than the Autumn Conference ‘23. Finally, with the excursion coming up, we are happy to announce that Sweden had the largest number of applications with 26 applicants. We hope for this engagement with NESU to continue in Sweden.
In the future, we hope for NESU Sweden to be as prominent in events as Finnish NESU organisations. To achieve this, we plan to market NESU events such as the Conference and Excursion as well as NESU Sweden further around Stockholm and Sweden in order to have greater applications and attendance from Sweden at these events. Additionally, we would also like to create more events from NESU Sweden such as sitz parties, networking events, and potentially a Conference. With NESU Sweden being small, there are many potential routes for growth, and we will put all our efforts to ensure that NESU Sweden develops as much as it can in the next 5 years.
We would like to provide a huge thanks to Swedish and other NESUits who have helped NESU Sweden grow as a concept in Sweden this term.
