Hello Dear Nesuits,
My name is Kristiina Sorsa and I am in charge of international affairs. I started my studies in University of Vaasa in Autumn 2011. The first time I was at the sitsi party outside of Vaasa was in Wappu 2012, since then, little by little I’ve been active in NESU. This summer I decided to apply to the board of NESU Finland and so far it has been the best choice of my student life :).
I’ve been interested about international affairs in NESU since I was an exchange student in Denmark. I thought that getting people involved with NESU is easier than it really is. Luckily one Dane was interested and some of us met him at the Autumn Conference in Iceland! Getting other Nordics to NESU is hard work and promoting NESU to other countries is not always successful. Our target for this year is spreading NESU in Denmark. Of course if someone has contacts in other Nordic countries, me and the President Anna Alppinen can help you with them and provide materials :). There is a new NESU presentation in English and we are very happy to spread it to all who think that they will need it.
We will probably meet at the sitsi parties and conferences, so if you see me come and say hello 🙂
