Country Representative / Chair of the Board
I’m Noora from Tampere and I’m starting now my fourth year in NESU. NESU has given me much more than I could’ve ever imagined. I have got so many new friends and also so many new experiences through NESU.
I have the honour to be Finland’s country representative and the chair of the board of NESU Finland this fall and next spring so if you have anything in mind feel free to ask! See you in the Autumn Conference and in the sitz parties!
Project Coordinator / Vice Chair
My name is Olga and I’m a 22-year-old Economics student from Joensuu. I fell in love with NESU straigth away in my freshman year and after a crazy and exciting year with NESU Optimi I decided to go for some more. Right now, I have the honor to be a member of NESU Finland ’17-’18 board as a Project Coordinator and Vice Chairman.
As a Project Coordinator, my main duty is to organize Wappurundi. I would also love to start creating new events to spice up NESU activities in Eastern Finland, as well as meetings between students and alumni to enable networking at its best.
Overall, I’m looking forward to my upcoming year with NESU Finland and everything it includes.
Dear fellow NESUits,
My name is Elina, I’m a 24-year-old second-year student from Oulu and it is my great pleasure to be the Communication Coordinator of NESU Finland for the next year. Since January I’ve also been in charge of the communications of NESU-Finanssi, therefore my new job description here was quite familiar to me to begin with. My main responsibilities include maintaining this website and managing our communication channels, such as social media and e-mail.
I have a lot of new ideas concerning, for example, the use of social media channels and improving our websites, which will actually be one of our main projects of the year. Yes, I’ll make the time for some fruitful conversations about nesu.net for anyone up for it!
All in all, I am very much looking forward to the upcoming year in the board and sharing great moments in NESU events with you all. See you around!
My name is Oskari Lohivesi and I am a 23-year-old International Business student from the University of Vaasa. I am positioned as the head of Corporate relations in the board of NESU Finland for term ’17-’18 and I manage our relations with stakeholders and other business-related venues. I am originally from Espoo, Finland and I have studied in Vaasa for the past 2 years.
Hello my dear NESU members!
My name is Aino-Elina Alaperä, I am a second-year student from University of Tampere and I am the current Treasurer of NESU-Finland.
As the Treasurer, my main responsibilities are budgeting, billing and preparing financial statements on NESU Finland twice a year and of course the final financial statement.
My NESU journey began last fall when I signed up to the NESU- cruise and Case competition in Turku. After a very eventful and fun trip to Turku I was hooked and fell in love with the NESU spirit and people. I ended up going to sits parties all over Finland and have made lifelong friends, thanks to NESU.
There is no doubt you will be seeing me at NESU sits, so come say hello and don’t be afraid to contact me if you have any questions regarding NESU Finland. As I said in NESU Kesämöksä; let’s make this an awesome NESU year and let’s do things “teholla” (at full)!
