The NESU journey doesn’t have to end at graduation. That’s why we’re excited to introduce NESU Alumni. We are aiming to build a community created for former active NESU members who want to stay connected, continue building relationships, and remain part of the NESU spirit.
What is NESU Alumni?
NESU Alumni is the official alumni network for former members of the Nordic Economics Students’ Union. It brings together alumni from all across NESU, creating opportunities to reconnect with old friends and to expand professional networks.
Who We Are
NESU Alumni recently got its first ever board. We are a group of former active NESU members who believe that the friendships, experiences, and skills gained through NESU last far beyond university. Our goal is to build a welcoming community where alumni can continue to engage with one another. The current members of the NESU Alumni board are Maria, Tia and Veera.
What We Do
NESU Alumni aims to organize alumni events and networking opportunities and to strengthen connections between alumni across generations. We also believe in preserving and celebrating NESU traditions while creating new ones for alumni.
NESU Alumni organized its first ever event in collaboration with NESU Finland and Helsingin Ekonomit. We had a sitz party with the theme ”Ikuisesti nuori” / ”Forever Young”. The sitz party was a success and it was wonderful to see many familiar faces attending the event and sharing their NESU memories together.
Plans for the Future
We’re just getting started! In the coming months, we’ll be developing new events, expanding our alumni network, and creating more opportunities for alumni to stay involved with NESU. There’s plenty to look forward to.
