Board of NESU-Jyväskylä is formed by six handsome guys who truly have been active in NESU-events
during this spring. Our four freshmen and two ”old brakes” have made NESU-Jyväskylä known in
Jyväskylä and also in other cities.
Head of our board is second year student Tommi Hokkanen, who made himself known last year by
being an active nesuit and head of communications in NESU-Jyväskyläs board. Hokkanen spent his
first month as head of the board in South-East Asia to take some time to think who he will manage
to survive from this year with this kind of board.
Vice Chair of NESU-Jyväskylä is the infamous Aku Viljanen. Aku started his studies in autumn 2014
and has eversince been a well-known character in NESU. This man from Rauma is vice chair of
NESU-Jyväskylä not first but SECOND TIME. As the oldest member of the board, Aku hasn’t slowed
down a bit – even though some of us think he should.
Our Event Coordinator is a mate from Helsinki, legend from basketball fields, Aleksi Kantonen.
Aleksi – Aksu as we call him – has been the mastermind behind many of our glorious events, suchs
The man sitting on the treasurechest, is our own Dog the Bounty Hunter – Jussi Ala-Kortesmaa.
This guy dominated Jyväskylä whole last autumn and is now holding the handbrake of NESU-
Jyväskylä. Jussi is planning to expand his domination from Jyväskylä to all NESU-cities.
As our secretary (and corporate relations) is famous Jiri Honkala. This man has spent his spring
running around Finland, trying to find the best NESU-events and has made his face known with
nesuit. Jiri is not planning to slow down – he is just warming up.
And the last one is our only ”dumppari”, head of communications, Petteri Pesonen. Petteri has
had hard times as being the minority of the board, but he is hardily keeping his ground.
Petteri has been communicating all over Finland and is now looking forwards to NESU-Finlands
NESU-Jyväskylä has had good time during this spring. We held one sits-party in March – which
were awesome, no lie. We tried out our new eventconcept ”Kokkisota” which was success. Now
we are resting from Wappu and we are really looking forward to NESU-Finland Kesämöksä, that
will be held in Jyväskylä this year! It will be awesome. No lie. Be there. You don’t want to miss
That’s about it.
