NESU-Optimi is best known for organizing unforgettable sits parties and other student events, but there is so much more happening behind the scenes! Our team has been busy not only planning and hosting events but also bonding and exploring the wider NESU community. Here’s a glimpse into what we’ve been up to recently.
One of the highlights of our journey has been our team-building activities. To strengthen our group dynamics, we kicked things off with a fun round of mini-golf. It was the perfect way to break the ice, get to know each other better, and, of course, engage in some friendly competition.
Beyond our own events, we have also actively participated in NESU events across Finland. We traveled to Turku for Dagen, an exciting and insightful event where we got to connect with other NESU members and gain valuable experiences. Additionally, we have been “ulkkaroimassa” in various cities, embracing the unique themes and vibes of different sits parties. In Lappeenranta, we embraced the After Ski theme, while in Jyväskylä, we enjoyed the creative and fun-filled Risto Räppääjä-themed sits. These trips have not only broadened our NESU network but also strengthened our team spirit.
To keep our team spirit high, Optimi ry also organized a team night, where we participated in a music quiz and a general trivia competition. While our performance varied throughout the evening, the most important part was the laughter, teamwork, and the memories we created together.
NESU-Optimi is more than just an organizing team – we are a close-knit group of students who love spending time together, exploring new experiences, and contributing to the vibrant NESU culture. With more events and adventures ahead, we are excited to see what the future holds!
